Press Release Summary = Vegas vacation packages come in all shapes and sizes, from
many sources and in many prices ranges.

Press Release Body = Minneapolis, MN December 8, 2005 - Viva Las Vegas is a
blessing originally bestowed by The King himself that this shining desert city would
live on and on, and so it has. Las Vegas has reinvented itself over the past 20
years and is still The City of Entertainment. For travelers and tourists, vacation
packages abound for combinations of transportation, lodging and a host of other
amenities.

Vacation packages are available through many vendors online. These vendors could be
reached by phone, but the highest percentage of bookings now occurs online. Vegas
vacation packages can be booked through airlines, through trip coordinators, through
specific hotels, or through Las-Vegas-specific sites. Be sure to read the terms and
conditions carefully, as almost all packages are unchangeable, non-transferable, and
non-refundable.

Airlines always offer vacation packages that may include air plus hotel or air plus
hotel and rental car. They often partner with a vacation agency, like Northwest
Airlines does with MLT. You can go directly to the nwa.com site and browse through
several Vegas-specific packages. The perks airline offers may come in the form of
limousine transfer, golf outing, or rental car bonus. Some airlines offer other
incentives if you purchase a package worth more than a certain dollar amount.

Online trip coordinators like Travelocity, Expedia, and Priceline offer vacation
packages to almost every destination as well. Don't look for added perks on these
sites; they will just most often give you the lowest price for the desired
combination of hotel, rental car, and airfare. One of the disadvantages if you care
where you stay or whom you fly is that many times you do not get to view you
carriers until after the purchase is completed. All major trip coordinators do
partner with major carriers, though, so at least you can know how many stars your
hotel boasts.

Specific hotels also offer vacation packages that are quite interesting. If you
know exactly where you want to stay in Vegas than this might be your best
alternative. Hotels like Caesars offer several packages that include perks within
the hotel, like dining certificates or spa vouchers. The Luxor includes tickets to
one of their shows. Still others partner with airlines for additional promotions.

Other Vegas-specific sites online offer vacation packages similar to the trip
coordinating sites, bundling air and hotel. The advantage of these sites is that
you can choose your hotel. On the other hand, they may be a little more expensive
than Priceline, for example. Look for excellent information and detailed
descriptions of hotels here. For more information, visit
